Guide for Germinating Cannabis Seeds

Materials

1x simple plastic cup or glass
Practical germination process

  1. Fill the glass with water
  2. Place the seeds in it
  3. Put the glass of water at the bottom of a cabinet or kitchen that is always at room temperature and warm, preferably around 24 to 25 degrees Celsius
  4. Wait until the seed opens and after it opens and leaves the root, do not put it in the soil yet. Leave it for another 48 hours so that it grows as long as possible. When it goes into the soil, even if there are mistakes in the process, it will be stronger.
  5. Place a transparent plastic cup upside down as soon as you see any sign of the seed coming out of the ground. Don’t forget to make several holes at the top for air to pass through. Keep the entire cup moist and warm where the sprout is located; this works like a greenhouse. If the seed is already halfway up the cup, you can remove the cup.

Basic Growing Tips in the Initial Process

  1. Prepare suitable soil; there are different types for sale and mixes to make, such as a mixture of humus, coconut fiber, perlite plus soil with few nutrients, all in the right proportions. Be very careful because too many nutrients can over-fertilize your soil, which means it can die.
  2. Use good fertilizers and remember that there are fertilizers for the vegetative and flowering periods, and they are not the same.
  3. Growth phase: 18/6 hours of light, which means 18 hours of light and 6 hours of darkness.
  4. Flowering phase: ensure the correct light cycle and keep it constant: 12/12 hours of light, which means 12 hours of light and 12 hours of darkness.
  5. Autoflower: the entire cycle should be 18/6 hours of light for the best results.
  6. Be careful not to stress your plant, as it can become a hermaphrodite. In other words, the female plant will develop male characteristics and can then pollinate other plants. Always keep an eye on the plants.
  7. Temperature is very important for the plants. During development, temperatures should be maintained at a maximum of 23-25 degrees Celsius, with ventilation and humidity. If the humidity is low, buy a humidifier and place it in your growing area.
